AIRCOM named market leader for network tools

UK company, AIRCOM International, has been named the market leading supplier of engineering tools to telecom operators by OSS Observer, a telecom software market analyst.

AIRCOM was named as the market leader in the recently published OSS Observer Service Fulfilment Market Review report.

According to the report, AIRCOM International holds 19% of the engineering tools market, which is valued at $542 million.

It is a global company with offices in 18 countries, and major customers including China Mobile, T-Mobile and Vodafone.

AIRCOM is estimated to generate $85m of its 2015 revenue from engineering tools, with the company’s success driven by strong operator mobile network expansion.

AIRCOM’s mobile network engineering tools and services include Enterprise, an integrated suite of network engineering software for planning, operating and optimizing 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G cellular and WiMAX networks.

OSS Observer estimates that telecom operators will be spending $629 million globally on engineering tools by 2012.
